Which instruments can I trade?

Three routes to a funded account. 2 Step Challenge — the classic path: 8% target in Phase 1, 5% in Phase 2, with the widest risk frame (4% daily, 8% overall drawdown). 1 Step Challenge — one phase, 10% target, tighter limits (3% daily, 6% overall). Instant Funding — no evaluation and no profit target: a higher entry price, trading firm capital from day one at 3% daily / 6% overall. All three come in $10K, $25K, $50K, $100K and $200K with the same 80/20 split.

Which account size should I choose?

All sizes from $10K to $200K are available in every model. The larger the account, the higher the fee — and the larger your potential profit in absolute terms. Beginners often start smaller to learn the rules before scaling up.

How many trading days do I need?

Accepted Answer

A minimum of 4 trading days in every model. A trading day counts when you open at least one position and close the day with 0.5% profit. This ensures your result rests on a real trading history, not one lucky hit.

Is there a time limit on the challenge?

No. Take as long as you need to complete the 4 minimum trading days and reach your target, as long as you stay inside the drawdown limits.

What happens if I break a rule or miss the target?

If a drawdown limit is breached the challenge is failed and access to the account is locked. There is currently no free reset — a new attempt requires a new regular fee. Build the drawdown rules into your risk management from day one.

How is the daily drawdown calculated?

The daily limit is 4% on the 2 Step and 3% on the 1 Step and Instant models. It is measured against your balance at the start of the trading day — not floating equity. An open trade that is temporarily deep in the red is not automatically a breach; your actual balance decides.

How is the overall drawdown measured?

8% on the 2 Step, 6% on the 1 Step and Instant models — measured against your original starting balance, with no time limit. The line is static: profits never tighten it, unlike a trailing drawdown that follows your high-water mark.

Can I hold positions over the weekend?

Yes, in every model. Keep in mind weekend liquidity is thinner, and moves can still affect your drawdown limits.

Are Expert Advisors or trading bots allowed?

No. EAs, automated bots, copy-trading software and similar systems are fully prohibited — whether for execution or risk management. Every trading decision must be your own. A violation locks the account immediately.

Is hedging allowed?

No. Opposing positions across two or more RD Funding accounts are prohibited, and so is holding a long and a short on the same coin in one account at the same time.

Can I share my account with someone else?

No. Sharing or passing on an account is prohibited. We cross-check IP and MAC addresses; anomalies can lead to a locked account.

No. Mirroring the trades of another account or signal provider is not permitted. Every decision must be your own.

No. You can trade at any time, including through news events.

No — deliberately. Many firms cap how much of your total profit one day may contribute; we skip that to keep conditions simple. An exceptionally strong day is never used against you.

Position size is limited only by your account's available capital — no artificial cap. Maximum leverage follows our Bybit connection and varies by asset.

What exactly happens on a rule violation?

The system locks the affected account automatically — for example on a drawdown breach or a banned tool — and you are informed by email.

You keep 80% of the profits you generate; RD Funding retains 20% for providing the capital. The split is identical across all three models and every account size.
